We envision families and communities, that are empowered to live in HOMEFUL and sustainable communities
Aims to equip its beneficiaries with proper knowledge, attitude, and understanding when it comes to the importance of a housing investment, (and how this enables the beneficiary to exit factors that perpetuate poverty), and the different responsibilities that come with it.
This seminar helps them understand the importance of Pag-IBIG, and helps them assess if they are ready to undertake the process of acquiring a housing loan from Pag-IBIG.
This research is being facilitated to learn more about the different enabling and limiting factors that contribute to homeowners’ capability of completing their housing loan. This will also provide JNF insights on what other interventions we can provide to our beneficiaries to ensure that they will be more empowered.
This data will also be useful in the development of policy and other interventions of LGUs and development organizations. This research is divided into three phases:
Determining the factors affecting decision to purchase a home
Development and pilot of a home ownership readiness tool
Development of interventions to encourage enabling factors and mitigate limiting factors
